Terms of Sale

EPEVER Webshop · Last updated: September 8, 2026

These Terms of Sale apply to every order placed through the EPEVER Webshop and to every quotation we issue from it. By completing checkout or accepting a quotation you accept these terms. Questions can be sent to ecommerce@epever.eu.

1. Seller and scope

The webshop is operated by EPEVER ("EPEVER", "we"). It sells solar charge controllers, inverters and inverter/chargers, DC-DC chargers, lithium batteries and energy storage systems, PV modules, monitoring products and accessories. These terms apply to the webshop only; separate agreements with distributors or project customers prevail over these terms where they conflict.

2. Customer types and accounts

You can order as a consumer, as a business customer or, where offered, as a guest. Business customers may supply a company name and VAT number; where a valid EU VAT number is verified and the goods are shipped to another EU member state, the invoice may be issued with VAT reverse-charged. An account lets you keep saved addresses, favourites, quotations, orders and invoices. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you enter and for keeping your login confidential.

3. Products, models and information

Many products exist in several models or variations that differ in voltage, current, capacity or connectivity. Prices, availability and specifications are shown per model. Photographs are indicative; technical data, manuals and certificates are provided for information and may be updated as products, firmware or certifications change. Always install and operate according to the manual supplied with the product.

4. Quotations and quote-only items

Some items cannot be bought directly. Products shown as "price on request" have no webshop price and can only be added to a quote request. Certain items, notably lithium batteries and large energy storage systems, show an indicative price so you can plan, but transport rules and freight cost differ per destination, so they are sold through a quotation instead of direct checkout.

If your cart contains both directly sellable products and quote-only items, checkout is split: you pay for the shippable part, and the remaining items are submitted as a quote request that we answer with a written quotation including shipping. A quotation is valid for the period stated on it (30 days if none is stated), is subject to availability and destination certification, and becomes binding only when you accept it in writing.

5. Prices, currency and taxes

Prices are shown in euro (EUR) and can be displayed including or excluding VAT depending on your selection and customer type. The applicable VAT rate is determined by the delivery country and your VAT status and is shown before you pay. Prices exclude shipping unless stated; shipping is calculated at checkout from the destination, weight and dimensions of your parcels. For deliveries outside the EU, import duties, taxes and clearance fees are payable by you and are not included. Obvious pricing or typing errors do not bind us: we will contact you and you may confirm the corrected price or cancel free of charge.

6. Payment

Payment is made at checkout with the methods shown there, handled by our payment provider on its own secure environment; we never receive or store your card details. Orders are prepared only once payment is confirmed by the provider. Where payment on account or bank transfer is agreed for a business customer, the goods remain our property until payment has been received in full, and statutory interest and collection costs may be charged on late payment.

7. Order confirmation and formation of the contract

Products in the cart are an invitation to order; your order is an offer. The contract is concluded when we confirm the order by email after payment is authorised. Before that moment, and in the event of a stock, price, export-control or certification problem, we may decline the order or part of it and refund what you paid for the declined items.

8. Availability, stock and validation

Availability is checked again at checkout, so prices, stock and shipping eligibility can change between the moment you add an item and the moment you pay; you will be shown any change before payment. If an item turns out to be unavailable after confirmation, we will offer a delivery date, an equivalent model or a refund of that item.

9. Shipping and delivery

We ship from our European warehouse with the carrier and service you select at checkout. Delivery times shown are carrier estimates from dispatch, not guaranteed dates. You receive a tracking link when the parcel is handed over. Please check the shipment on arrival and report visible transport damage or a missing parcel to us within seven days with photographs. Risk passes to business customers when the goods are handed to the carrier and to consumers on delivery. Some destinations, and some battery or energy storage shipments, are only possible through a quotation because of transport regulations.

10. Cancellation and consumer right of withdrawal

You may ask us to cancel an order before it has been dispatched and we will cancel and refund it where the parcel has not yet been handed to the carrier. Consumers in the EU may also withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason, by informing us at ecommerce@epever.eu. Return the goods within 14 days of that notice, complete, unused and in their original packaging; return shipping is at your cost unless the item is faulty or wrongly supplied. Goods made or configured to your specification are excluded from withdrawal. The right of withdrawal does not apply to business customers.

11. Returns and refunds

Ask for a return authorisation before sending anything back and include your order number. Approved returns are refunded to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the goods or proof of return, and include the standard outbound shipping cost for a valid withdrawal. Items returned incomplete, damaged through use or without authorisation may be refused or refunded in part.

12. Warranty

Products carry the manufacturer's warranty stated on the product page or in its documentation, in addition to your statutory rights, which are unaffected. Warranty covers material and manufacturing defects in normal use; it does not cover damage from incorrect wiring or sizing, over-voltage, lightning, water ingress, unauthorised repair, or use outside the specification in the manual. Report a claim with your order number, a description and photographs; after inspection we repair, replace or refund the item.

13. Limitation of liability

Our liability for a webshop order is limited to the value of that order, except where the law does not allow such a limit. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost production or profit, loss of data, or the cost of installation or removal, nor for damage resulting from installation or sizing carried out by you or a third party. Nothing here limits liability for intent, gross negligence, personal injury or statutory product liability, or a consumer's mandatory rights.

14. Compliance and export

You are responsible for confirming that a product may be installed and operated in your country and for complying with local grid, transport and safety rules. Orders may be refused where certification, export control or transport regulations prevent supply to your destination.

15. Complaints, law and disputes

Send complaints to ecommerce@epever.eu; we aim to reply within five working days. These terms are governed by Dutch law, and disputes will be brought before the competent court in the Netherlands unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to another forum. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
